Awaited subunit of Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi

The highly anticipated subunit of SeulRene has finally confirmed a new debut date after the delay last June.

Initially, SM Entertainment had released a press news on April 21 2020 that confirmed the debut of Seulgi and Irene as a group unit. The very next day, the company released the debut date, June 15. However, to the dismay of ReVeluvs, Red Velvet's fans, and multi-fans, the group unit was delayed. SM Entertainment announced the postponement on Lysn, a fanclub app.

In order to work on the album a bit more, we have decided to delay the album release.

Everything took a turn for better, after almost a month of delay, on 21 June 2020, the company released a statement that Red Velvet's Seulgi and Irene will debut on June 16 with their 1st mini album 'Monster'. It will include six songs of diverse genres.

Moreover, Irene revealed on Lysn the unit's first debut stage that will air on KBS Music Bank on July 10.

Pre-orders will open on June 22.
